OH7530; Solanum lycopersicum; tomatoA new breed of tomatoes. OH7530 was coded as F02-7530 in September 2002. OH7530 is derived from SG01-3008 a family with coupling-phase recombination for the Pto gene and the Rx-3 locus conferring resistance to Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato and Xanthomonas euvesicatoria race T1, respectively, and described (Yang and Francis, 2005, J. Amer. Soc. Hort. Sci. 130(5): 716-721). OH7530 combines well as a parent in hybrid crosses and has been used as a parent in OARDC experimental hybrids FG06-602, FG06-604, FG06-608, and FG06-609. The vine is prostrate, similar to OH88119, and fruit set is concentrated. |
